Die Einheit Amerikas ist nun das Wichtigste!

SkyAustralia ist ein Internetportal, das sich zur Aufgabe macht, über Amerikas Politik zu berichten. So wurde am 3. Juli 2024 ein YouTube-Video (1) mit dem Titel: ”Left threatens Donald Trump with ‘assassination’ following debate week.”(Linke drohen Donald Trump eine Woche nach der Debatte) 

Der BBC-Reporter David Arronovitch wird mit der folgenden Aussage in New York Times zitiert: „Wenn ich Biden wäre, würde ich Trump ermorden lassen, weil er eine Gefahr für Amerikas Sicherheit ist.“ David ist aber nur einer von vielen.

„Orange ist das neue Schwarz“, erläuterte die Schauspielerin Lea Delaria auf ihrem Blog. Nun sieht man ein Video von ihr, in dem sie Joe Biden persönlich anspricht: „Jo, du bist ein vernünftiger Mann. Du willst das nicht tun, aber hier ist die Realität. Es handelt sich um einen Krieg und wir kämpfen für unser Land. Und diese … nehmen es von uns. Jo, jetzt hast du das Recht, Trump loszuwerden. Wenn es Hitler wäre und wir hätten das Jahr 1940, würdest du es tun. Es ist 1940 – so „take him out“. 

„Diese Leute sind buchstäblich verwirrt, wir sprechen von einem Trump Derangement Syndrom. Sie meinen, es sei ok, Millionen von Zuschauern zu versichern, dass es ok ist, jemanden zu ermorden? 

Jeder meint, er kann auf seinem Videochannel Biden den Rat geben, dass dieser die CIA beauftragen soll, ein Attentat auf Trump zu verüben. Damit wird das Argument aus dem Weg geräumt, dass Biden Gehirntod ist, und nicht mehr in der Lage ist eine weitere Amtszeit einzuhalten.“

Die Moderation von SkyNews fragte weiterhin, wieso es akzeptiert wird, einen politischen Gegner im Namen der Demokratie umzubringen und was diese Aufrufe mit der Vereinigung des Landes zu tun haben. (1)

So fragt man Präsident Biden kurz nach dem Attentat auf Trump, was sich verändert hat. 

Biden sollte wissen, welche Gewalt seine Worte haben, besonders als er Trump als eine Gefahr für Freiheit, Demokratie und für alle das darstellt, was einem Amerikaner wichtig ist, suggeriert SkyNews Moderatorin Gabrielle Power am 15. Juni 2024. 

In einem Interview mit NBC News von Montagabend gestand Biden, er habe einen Fehler gemacht, als er letzte Woche sagte, Trump müsse ins „Bullseye“ (Schwarze) genommen werden. Er fügte jedoch hinzu, dass auch Trump eine gewalttätige Rhetorik im Wahlkampf verwendet.

Sind jedoch nicht die Leute, die Biden als gefährlich bezeichnet, nach dem Attentat, in dem Trump beinahe sein Leben verloren hat, betend zusammengekommen? 

Vier Millionen US-Dollars wurden auf einer eingerichteten GoFundMe Seite für den ermordeten Familienvater Corey Comperatore und die zwei anderen Verletzten gespendet, die Trump autorisierte. (2) Der Präsidentscahftskandidat wird an der Beerdigung teilnehmen.

Republikaner waren sehr gerührt, als ihr Präsidentschaftskandidat Trump ihre Tagung aufsuchte. Als er kam, war der Raum elektrisiert, alle riefen vor Begeisterung. Man sah seine Bandage am Ohr, die jeden daran erinnerte, was 48 Stunden zuvor passierte. (3) 

„Wie haben uns nach dem Attentat verändert? Es kann keinen unberührt lassen, wenn eine Kugel einen Präsidentschaftskandidaten um Millimeter verfehlt. Und ein Vater sein Leben für seine Familie gibt“, erklärte Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson am Dienstag in Milwaukee. 

„Demokraten haben uns Amerikaner vergessen“, betont Ron. „Die größte Gefahr, die uns Amerikanern droht, ist jedoch, dass wir gespalten sind. ‘Jedes Haus, das in sich gespalten ist, wird nicht bestehen. (Matt. 12.26)‘, erwähnte Präsident Lincoln so oft. 

Präsidentschaftskandidat Trump hat seine vorbereitete Rede, die er am Donnerstag geben wollte, zerrissen. Nach dem Attentat liegt ihm die Einheit Amerikas am Herzen. Selbst Präsident Biden äußerte sich in seiner vor kurzem gegebenen Ansprache: “Wenn wir das Attentat sehen, ist das ein Moment, in dem jeder Amerikaner sein Verhalten überdenken muss“ schließt der Senator seine Ansprache vor den republikanischen Delegierten.

A relic of the wonder-worker St. Charbel was hosted at St. Joseph Maronite Catholic Church in Phoenix, AZ

Once again, a relic of St. Charbel, the saint from the land of the ancient Phoenicians, visited Phoenix.

 

The first Lebanese saint is well known for healing the sick and disabled since his death on Christmas Eve in 1889, at the age of 70. His incorrupt body—meaning it never decomposed ---lies in a tomb near his monastery in Lebanon. Since October of 2015, a relic of one of his bones has toured to parishes around the United States.

 

In 2016 St. Joseph Catholic Maronite Church in Phoenix hosted the saint’s relic. Since that time many wonderful things have been witnessed. Among them, Dafne Gutierrez, a blind mother of three children was completely cured after the intercession of St. Charbel. 

The eye doctors had given up all hope of a cure, however, Dafne's sister-in-law convinced her to visit the relic of the saint. On January 18th, 2016, Dafne’s eyesight completely returned within one day of her prayers to St. Charbel, and her receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation and a blessing with Holy Oil.  

It healing has baffled the doctors, who concluded that there was no medical explanation for the restoration of her vision. It is believed that St. Charbel's intercession accounted for this astounding healing.

The miracle attracted the attention of the media. Since then, more and more people are flocking to the little church on Virgin Road in Phoenix. The church was declared a pilgrimage site and hosts a permanent relic. 

The largest Shrine in North America dedicated to St. Charbel was built nearby. People of faith around the USA, Canada and Mexico come to see this Saint’s relic. Phoenix has a large Lebanese population and the fame of the Lebanese saint has increased greatly, with many believing St. Charbel has miracelous powers of intercession for the faithful. 

Fr. Wissam Akiki

On a daily basis, the parish priest, Fr. Wissam Akiki, receives reports of St. Charbel's wonderful help: cancer disappears, and eyesight is regained after praying to him. 

Fr. Akiki is busy every day, listening to people's problems, and in turn, blessing them with the relic and holy oil of St. Charbel. "Go to him!" the priest says. "He will help you!"

Fr. Akiki is deeply touched and humbled by the strength of faith of the many people visiting. “They are driven by their belief in God and love of St. Charbel to make their own pilgrimage and ask St. Charbel to grant his intercession. It is faith, hope, and love of God that sustains and comforts us and provides us the courage and strength to keep our faith strong and never give up on faith.”

From January 18-21, 2018, the original relic was brought back to the church to console the numerous petitioners who have no one to turn to. The often-forgotten people, like legal immigrants, the sick, the unemployed, and the uninsured pray especially for St. Charbel’s heavenly intervention.

For them, he is a saint who helps everybody, regardless of his status or belief. Muslims and Christian pilgrims are among the petitioners praying to him at his homestead in Lebanon and wherever his relics are hosted.

In the week when the Church is focused on unity among all religions, it is a unique and beautiful sight to see the many visitors join to invoke the saint who they know will help them in their travails. 

Devotional prayers, adoration, the veneration of the relic, and the Holy Liturgy in different rites was celebrated. For the many in attendance, it was an unforgettable experience of the beauty of unity.
